Tranquility Psychology Services offer therapeutic services to a range of individuals. Working from a strengths based approach, sessions focus on supporting you with what is important to you.

Session typically take place in the office but can also take place at Kinder or schools (depending on availability).

Assessment Services
A range of assessments are available and are conducted from a neurodiversity affirming framework. Assessments can can help individuals and others with better understanding a person's thinking, feeling and experiencing the world. It can also help guide accommodations and modifications in key environments (e.g. school, work and home).

Cognitive Assessments
What are they used for?
To help understand an individual's cognitive strengths and challenges.
Cognitive assessments are also used when diagnosing Intellectual Disability, Global Developmental Delays, Giftedness and Specific Learning Disabilities.

Assessment tools typically used: WPPSI-IV, WISC-V and WAIS-IV
Educational Assessments
What are they used for?
To help understand an individual's academic strengths and challenges. These assessments are also used to diagnose Specific Learning Disabilities and to guide educational accomodations and interventions.

Assessment tools typically used: WISC-V/ WAIS-IV and WIAT-III
Autism Assessments
What are they used for?
To better understand an individuals neurotype and to determine if an individual meets criteria for Autism. Assessment of Pathological Demand Avoidance profiles are also included when indicated.

Autism assessments are available for both children aged 4+, adolescents and adults

Assessment tools used: A range of tools are used depending on age and individual presentation.
Children and adults (ADOS-2 and MIGDAS) and SRS-2, CAT-Q.

What are they used for?
To better understand an individuals neurotype and to determine if an individual meets criteria for ADHD.

Assessment tools used: Connors EC, Connors 4, CAARS and DIVA 2.0 Interview

*Please note that further assessment/ confirmation of diagnosis will be required for the purpose of medication prescription with a Paediatrician/ Psychiatrist
Additional Assessments

Additional assessments are offered to explore specific referral queries or as part of an existing assessment.
Additional assessments are available to assess Adaptive Functioning (required for Intellectual disability assessments and NDIS), Social and Emotional Functioning, Sensory Preference and specific diagnoses (e.g. OCD, PTSD).
